Everyone at Joe User is just so happy and fun! You have to have a sense of humor with a name like Joe User!

I was considering starting a blogsite dedicated to the discussion of marriage. I was going to call it Harry Crabs. My wife balked, so I digress.

There is really no virtual community to compare to the honest, open perspective that Joe User has. There should be more like it. This world would be a much richer, more diverse place.

I, as soooooooo many others are just grateful to be blessed by the absolute intelligence that this community offers.

Thank you so much. And to do it all for free?! Wow!

stop posting and feeding him material. it just gives him stuff to feed his delusional (spelling ?) mind with. And for the record I am very liberal but I had no trouble getting my blog.

Yeah, give him a break, Jafo. The best solution would be to lock this puppy, let it drift out of sight on Stardock's boards, but remain for this twit's legacy. Me, I'd have exiled him with the "average joe" statements, but admittedly Brad is more tolerant of idiots than I am.

But we're not feeding Him, AT. This thread has become much, much bigger than the individual...in fact, that individual has become unimportatant, irrelevant to its existence. What we have now is a thread with a persona of its own, and if the originator never posts here again, it would happily survive and nobody would miss him.

And for the record I am very liberal but I had no trouble getting my blog.

Ah, but that would've been before the 'filters' were effectively put in place...you obviously fell through the cracks, and remain because your tin foil hat has that extra propellor with an EMP device to interrupt the signals transmitted back to Stardock. Not a bad idea, that!

the commie-pinko-tree-huggin-fag-lovin-god-and-america-hating-liberal has exposed himself and we'll have to kill him now.

I'm not an advocate of violence, killing! Better to ostracise and carry on regardless!

Nice trick with Google. Yeah, I noticed.

Does this refer to the fact that when you google "theguyPC" it the second hit is this thread?

http://www.googleityoumoron.com/?go=theguypc

Because . . Brad controls Google?

Dr Guy, haven't you heard the old saying: "It ain't over 'til the fat lady sings."? Well guess what! I got her gagged in a closet....so never fear, the soprano has been silenced.

Thank you for that!

I am making it my personal mission to keep this thread going as long as possible. I think it would end up being highly ironic considering the topic if this article found its way to the "top of the charts", so to speak. Please, guys, who's with me? We can make it a points whore marathon for theGuyPC, and maybe the proceeds can help him get treatment for his paranoia and persecution complex!

Count me in, but if there's any proceeds to be had, I've got first dibs on 'em...besides, it's unlikely we'd ever raise enough for the treatment required

I dunno...a whiffle ball bat and a fifth of Jack are wonderful therapy.

(the Jack's for me...this dude's remarkably more tolerable when I'm blitzed!)

Not for me anymore...I gave it up about 4 years ago now. The strongest brew for me these days is a cup of Tetleys (tea). Besides, tolerance is no longer required, since this thread progressed beyond the dude and is a living breathing organism with a purpose of its own...taking the mickey out of its originator. Sad that, he spawned the beast and it became his Judas, having betrayed him for another master. Next it'll be doing a Peter by denying 3 times that it even knows him. Hah, that'll teach him to conceive a contentious, rebellious child and not teach by example that self-restraint and discipline are virtues by which to live.

I'll stick with you as well. Keep the Jack and the Tetley. I'll have a beer.

Yeah, but U.S. beers are generally not as strong as the Oz stuff (4.8 alcoholic vol), so if I were you and still drinking, I'd be going through 4 or 5 cartons (Carton = 24 x 375ml cans/stubbies) to get appropriately "blitzed", not that it'd help make some whiny arsed individuals tolerable....

In fact, some are so insipid, I'd have to just to get me through the day.

Oh well, it takes all kinds to make up a world, and without ridiculous we'd seriously be lacking in the entertainment department.

I cut my teeth on German Beer! You guys still dont hold a candle!

4.8? The beer I drink is 6.0. Dunno what it is in Oz

Ah, but the 4.8 stuff isn't our strongest, it's just the preferred strength for sale in pubs....we have others around 6.5% alcoholic volume, with some boutique beers weighing in around 8 to 9%. I used to brew my own around that, tho on occasion it would come closer to 10 - 11%....which would make anyone legless after a couple of long-necks, seasoned drinkers included.

4.8? The beer I drink is 6.0. Dunno what it is in Oz

Yeah, but are we talking 6% proof, used to measure the strength of spirits, or 6% alcoholic volume, used to measure beers and wines? There is a difference, and Oz has among the strongest 'pub' beers in the world. We get beers imported from all over the world here, and a friend of mine used to drink New Zealand or American beers cos he reckoned he could drink far more of it than he could of Oz beer and still not get pissed....which seemed to bear out as he'd get totally legless if he drank VB or Fosters.

Anyway, it was nice talking with you about beer, but my drinking days are over and it's not addressing this conspiracy thing. I mean, what if TheGuyPC is a plant from someone like the StyleXP people, sent to try bring Stardock down from the inside by casting aspersions on management, etc? Did anyone stop to think about that? No, of course not, it was assumed, taken for granted, even, that he's a whiny assed "commie-pinko-tree-huggin-fag-lovin-god-and-america-hating-liberal", when in actual fact he could very well be quite intelligent and something far more sinister. It would not appear to be that way, with such comments as "my bung hole tastes like chocolate!", but was that just an act to dupe and have us drop our guards? >

Personally, I think Brad should get to the bottom of this ASAP with his filtering/Liberal detection gear...and while he's at it, maybe he could use the software that turns PC speakers into transmitters as well as receivers to check if all those complaining about slow page loads on Stardock sites are genuine, rather than competitor plants, sent to incite dissatisfaction/dissent. Those heard to be cussing and using expletives could be considered to be genuine, and those not cussing could be considered suspects.

Please check back tomorrow, same time same channel, for another gripping episode of "Brad the Stardockian Meets the Masters of Deceit & Espionage Head On"
